Fragments is a meditation on memory, erosion, transformation, and the beauty found in what remains.
Each work begins with layers—some built, some concealed, some scraped back, and some allowed to emerge through the process itself. Acrylic paint, molding paste, organic textures, marks, threads, wood, and other mixed-media elements create surfaces that feel weathered, excavated, and almost archaeological.
Across the collection, muted earth tones, mineral greens, rust, charcoal, deep blues, soft neutrals, and traces of rose move between moments of quiet and intensity. No surface is completely resolved or entirely erased. Earlier layers remain visible beneath later ones, creating a visual history within each painting.
The resulting works exist somewhere between landscape and abstraction, painting and sculpture, presence and disappearance. Raised textures catch the light and create subtle shadows, making the paintings change as the viewer moves around them.
Fragments reflects the way memory itself works: incomplete, layered, fragmented, and often more powerful because of what is missing.
These paintings are not about recreating the past. They are about what survives it.
