Floarea - Contemporary Textured Floral Paintings

Named in loving memory of my mother, Floarea — Romanian for flower — this collection is a celebration of nature's beauty, sensuality, and intricate design.

I have always been captivated by flowers. I photograph them, study them, and explore their forms through digital painting and acrylic. I am fascinated by the folds, movements, shadows, curves, pistils, and petals — by the unexpected architecture hidden within something so delicate.

Through expressive color, sculptural forms, and raised petals created with molding paste, each painting transforms botanical inspiration into a contemporary interpretation of floral beauty.

FLOAREA is an exploration of nature, emotion, and memory — a tribute to the beauty that continues to bloom.
