Shedding explores the moment of release—the breaking away of what has accumulated, hardened, or no longer belongs. Layers of acrylic, textured mixed media, gestural marks, and spontaneous splashes build a surface that feels simultaneously fragile and forceful.
Warm terracotta and earthy ochre tones move through passages of bone white, black, and raw canvas, creating a sense of erosion, movement, and renewal. Raised textures and fragmented marks invite the eye to move across the surface, revealing traces of what lies beneath.
