About Corina

Artist Statement
I’m Corina Ioana, the artist behind Corinafoto. My work is a fusion of abstract painting, photography, and mixed media—where bold color and texture become language for the unseen. Through my journey, I remind myself, that I create not for validation, but for connection, for healing and for joy, for honoring the invisible threads that bind us.
I use materials like acrylic, jute, sand, molding paste, cement, natural elements, and glass to create tactile, layered surfaces that invite both feeling and reflection. Inspired by nature, memory, and the body, my work is driven by a deep curiosity about what lies beneath the surface—of ourselves, and of the world.
More than decoration, my art is meant to move people. To create spaces of stillness, energy, and connection. To remind us that beauty can exist in both the chaos and the quiet—that transformation is not only possible, it’s already happening.
About the Artist
